A place to be

A place to be

I was born into, the streets I roam,

Happy to say, it’s still my home.

It will always be a part of me,

From the valley, to the sea.

Like this boy became a man,

Part of Fife’s, Lang Toun clan.

Friends for life, easy to find,

In this town, our paths aligned.

Folk from here, already know,

A place to live, let children grow.

Feels so good, to live in Fife.

I met my girl, now my wife.

As one, we’ve grown together,

Like changes in the weather.

On darker days, the rain will fall,

Know this town, is free for all.

So much to see, things to do,

Everyday, there’s something new.

Am proud to say, am from Kirkcaldy,

Built this man, from a wee Laddie. (Law-dy)

nice one Grant, this is penned real well with good rhyme and flow, It's years since I've been to Kirkcaldy but it was in days of following Kilmarnock football club which is now more years than like to remember but  although go to Dunfermline now and then. God bless, Gordon
