A PLACE TO BE ME

Everyone has that special secret place 
Where you can escape the rigours of the human race
A place where you feel well at ease 
A place for you where it's sure to please

This place to you can be light or dark 
It can be crowded or solitary either will leave their mark
The place for me that I frequent the most 
Is neither in the city or on the coast

I enjoy the busyness of a crowded coffee bar 
Where the coffee is hot and boiled in a jar 
That's the place where I can be me
