So many days have passed 
Many more tears I’ve shed
For a love that runs just a little to deep
And called each smile a blessing

So many hours I sat across from you 
With love trying to kill my heart 
Every pain I withstood for you
And loved you each day anew 

So many dreams I have made 
With you as the beautiful prince 
A flawed perfection made human 
And I adored the ground you walked on

So much pain I have endured gracefully 
To only see you smile a moment
Never thinking of nothing but you 
And even now it’s the very same
