A POETS PERCEPTIONS (of writers block)

A POETS PERCEPTIONS (of writers block)

Oh myĀ IĀ ve lost something dear to meĀ
I cant seem to write. I`ve lost the ability
I cant find any inspirationĀ its up and gone
I guess my last poem written was my swansong

Why has this happened to me I so love to write
as IĀ sit in front of a screen with nothing to type
Thank god IĀ can still read and appreciate the artĀ
I just really wish IĀ could write, its tearing me apart

I want to vanquish theĀ enemyĀ settled in my brain
I think IĀ need a muse to inspire me once again
I think IĀ stress lots. which has blocked my imagination
creativity now zero until the return of some inspiration

I know IĀ am not the only writer who has hadĀ this curse
I readĀ it`s is pretty normal so it could be worse
I am hoping it won`t last, and soonĀ some words will flow
Writer`s block you suck! stop causing me this woe :-(

Hey DEBS!!...so sorry sweetheart!!..... I've heard writers say this many times before..... and I've always responded to them thusly ......I just don't believe in "writers block"....... for some reason a blank page just seems to need words on it...... now I know it's just me being TONY!!...... but I know for sure that it will pass my friend...... Because ......"To read, is to write, to have written!"...... and you read a lot!!...... so the inspiration WILL come....... you're to expressive within your poetry to have the well simply dry up.....NO WAY!!....... just keep reading my friend!!.....I hope this hasn't sounded arrogant or condescending........ it wasn't my intent.......I believe in you........ always will!!....... your friend and admirer!!......T xo.Ā  ?

Hi Dear Debs,

I think you are struggling with the horrible loss of your Mother last December, and this one year date since she left your side has traumatized you. Ā But I assure you, it's only a fleeting moment of dejection. Ā Think of her. Ā Create Christmas poetry. Ā Tell us of all the joys you and she always shared. Ā We on Cosmo want our dear Debs back. Ā Your dear Mum, is looking down from the Gates of Heaven and feels the same way.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

Larry xxx
