A Power Too Powerful

In ages past, beneath the ancient starry sky,
We wandered forth, a fleeting, a fragile kin,
Hands that shaped the flint to a fire’s spark,
The twilight’s hush, a destiny woven but star-string.
The caverns deep, where shadows danced on walls,
Rose to wield the flame, its warmth our guide.
Dawn’s embrace, the tale that wove our voices,
A whispers soft, a promise to transcend.
The stars observed as wisdom’s seed took root,
In fertile minds where dreams began to soar.
With thought and craft entwined in a noble dance.
The man did ponder, a gift with so might.
The thread with so much power, so finely spun and frail,
Our care it demands, lest shadows cloak its flame.
From ancient dust to realms of lofty heights,
The journey vast, through struggle and through strife,
Shall guide our path if we with mindful hands,
Thus heed the past, where ancient echoes sing,
Of glory won and lost within the mist.
The power held, let not the light grow dim,
But forge ahead with wisdom’s tempered blaze.
