(A Prayer for the Wild Ones kept in Cages)

(A Prayer for the Wild Ones kept in Cages)
There is a fire I see in people,
I beg for it to be released.
Free! Free! (The Outside).
Don’t be jealous.
Be jealous because you’re beautiful and strong,
These cages are only a metaphor,
Inside I am chained,
I want to cry,
Please look deeply into my soul.
You mask silently ask yourself, or to others.
My eyes want to be heard
My voice wants to be seen,
Sometimes I feel like “normal” is the real
Upside down,
Or maybe, sometimes, we truly forgot
What it’s like to be…free!
“Love is a match, unmarked,
Complete nakedness.”
A spark, a flame, a fire,
That can’t be contained,
That to me is the pure humbleness of freedom.
Are we all scared predators for our own,
Identities, hearts and dreams?
It will be ok.
Again, I say, “IT WILL BE OK.”
The powerful wrath of the wind will wash over you.
The sky will open up and you will hear the voice,
You will feel the wink and the circling of the leaves,
Swirl around.
Wild is the real picture of what it’s like to be fully, fully alive.
Life is so precious and fragile,
It’s never too late or too early to pray.
You are the creation for this infinite playground,
That is life!
The world has yet to see your smile.
Hear the thunder! Ride the lightning!
Your never truly alone, in the pouring rain.
