Poem -

A price to pay?

A price to pay?

A price to pay?

The beauty we have left,
Placed in our palm,
Drip,
Drip,
It's nearly gone,
Corroded hanging home,
A burning manifestation,
Drip,
Drip,
A guilty soul?
Too late to right the wrongs,
Wake up!
Wake up!
We are benefiting at a killing cost,
Animals on land,
Forests, chopped down,
Sea life constantly poisoned,
Just to keep us well fashioned!
Wake up!
Wake up!
For us to smell good, out of a bottle?
Surely it's good to move forward,
But think of who or what's been tortured!
Stop the dripping through our fingers,
Start rebuilding, nature still lingers!
Is life, the price to pay?

Hi Wayne
i really enjoyed your poem about the environment.Β
I believe its important to put that message across that our everyday actions is having a devastating affect on the environment for our children to live in.
Nowadays no one seems to care about pollution or recycling!
Its important to share our views to create a better world for the futureΒ
