Scripture

To know how to love
is to know how to feel
and to know how to hurt
is to to know how to heal
and if we must take 
then first we should know
we cannot receive 
from crops that don't grow.

So if we seek truth
In lands where doubt lies
then first we must falter
to open our eyes
and if we feel pain
then first we should know
that pain is the substance 
that helps us to grow.

So first we must hurt 
to know how to cure.
The scripture of life 
we all must endure.
