A SEALED KISS

A SEALED KISS

FAREWELL MY DARLING
GOODBYE FOR NOW
I WILL TRY TO CONTINUE LIFE’S JOURNEY
WITHOUT YOUR LOVE
SOMEWAY, SOMEHOW.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER
THE LOVE WE HAVE SHARED
SO PRECIOUS WERE THOSE MOMENTS
AND FEW WERE THE YEARS

SO STILL YOU NOW LAY
WITH A FADED SMILE
HOW MY HEART DO ACHE
WITH TEARS OF A CHILD

I WISH I COULD EMBRACE YOU
JUST ONE LAST TIME
BUT A COFFIN HAS COME BETWEEN US
SO MY KISS OF LOVE I’LL SEAL IN THIS BOX
UNTIL ETERNITY IS YOURS AND MINE.

WILFORD BARKER.
