A Season's Tale

1: WINTER

The trees are bare, shivering and creaking, spreading the word WINTER is nearing.

The CHILLING air touches our skin, the sky turning grey, CHILDREN begin to cheer, the snow is almost here.

Its here, its here, down it floats DANCING this way and that, the ROSES in our cheeks now blooming.

LAUGHTER is heard everywhere as the season births excitement, filling the Atmosphere.

As Snowball fights are played and SNOWMEN are made. On the guttering, icicles appear as GLEAMING STALACTITES shed many a tear.

So we say FAREWELL to the snow, as the last icicle has FALLEN, and the last bite of winter is felt as WINTER'S white begins to melt.

2: SPRING

The snow has melted making way for the FRAGRANCE to enter the BREEZE, as it gently greets us as we begin shaking off the remnants of winter's cold tale.

The LAMBS and young CHICKS cheer a promise of warmth, as flowers signal a season anew evident in colors RED, WHITE and BLUE.
  
BEES and BUTTERFLIES begin performing their MAGIC dance, as we watch the flowers grow and lovers meet each other by chance.

The trees start wearing new coats of GREEN, patterned with the REDS, BLACKS and juicy round colors of GREEN.
 
The DUCKS return with their call bringing greetings of season's change, the surrounding ground flowers ARRANGE.

Clear blue skies grow in warmth as ROMANCE steals love's first KISS, writing memories taking risks.
 
3: SUMMER

Laughter heard games are played MOON reflecting its yellowy face, heat remains PASSION to, held in the arms of loves EMBRACE.

As LOVERS play and frolic in the SAND the sun watches over above as it color coats their skin.

The OCEAN beckons, waves RIPPLE a dance, BRAVE new surfers making the chase.

Get-togethers for SUMMERTIME PLEASURES with family and friends as days become longer and planned VACATIONS slowly begin.

CLOUDS make faces way up high, summer vacates as AUTUMN arrives, note the trees start to SHIVER their summer coats SHED a river.

The Summer heat, the BIRDS and the BEES, the BUTTERFLIES to, that made their stay slowly begin their JOURNEY and fade away.

4: AUTUMN

Every day a colorful PAINTING comes to life, a reminder that everything changes, things DIE and through it all, they survive the FALL.

CHILLS fill in the air while ROBINS return, diminishing YELLOWS, and REDS barely highlight the skyline, below the last of the flowers, make a late retreat.

HALLOWEEN laughter ECHOES the streets, from tiny sized SUPERHEROES, PRINCESSES, WITCHES too, a sight to behold, the CANDY trade begins as people pass by in a MARDI GRAS like PARADE.

A BABY is BORN a story told, trees left bare feeling the COLD their arms outstretched grasping for WARMTH, wishing for summer of OLD.
 
FROST begins to appear letting us know WINTER is coming near and the SEASONS begin again YEAR after YEAR.

High in the sky pure white clouds FREEZE, ready to bring winter nights BREEZE, creeping forward day by day bringing WINTER this way!
