A Shallow Breath

A Shallow Breath

The rise and fall
Of your burly chest
As shallow breath be taken.

Can I ever know you
The way you know me?

A life unquestionable
In pursuit of dreams
That may never come.

Living, day by day.
Amoungst those that barely see.
For blind they are to the hypocrisy.

I live no more for desires of the flesh.
For they are not my rock,
Nor my shelter.

The way you are,
Is perfect in all its might.
For my strength lies within you.
