A shattered core

A shattered core

A feeling so heavy,
I feel like I'm sinking
It began when you left me
and my heart did all the thinking

I miss the warm I love you's
and I miss the soft goodbyes
I ponder about the pastĀ
While the time moves and it flies

My love is just so fragile
It is delicate like glass
You live in the future
While I'm dwelling on the past
