A Silent Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven 
Who dwells in our hearts below 
Whose love is eternal and fervent 
Despite our shortcomings and woes 
Awaken he who hides from you 
Amidst his regret and shame 
Heal she who yearns for you
But is too afraid to change
Your holiness is infinite,
More than the world
And the evil within it
Help us spread your news 
To all family, strangers, and friends 
Protect us, your people
In Jesus' name
