A Single Blade Of Grass
Dedicated To Marion Price

A single blade of grass,
Amid many a tall bluebell.
Here in nature's woodland,
What stories can it tell.
Of raindrops falling on it,
The creatures it has seen.
Or bathing in the warmth,
Of a summer's hot sunbeam.
Oh! Single blade of grass,
How sad must be your plea.
Without the company of others,
As green as you can be.
Then autumn starts to blow,
With seeds upon its breeze.
That gently land around you,
And put your mind at ease.
Spring returns as promised,
As you view the ground below.
And smile at what you see,
As the grass begins to grow.
Dedicated to Marion Price for all her enchanting poetry.

Oh my god...I am crying this morning Shaun...between you and Rob( read Rob's tribute to you) ( Well not really stopped since December, but for a very different reason today) Life died with my son but it is through glimpses into the souls of
beautiful and generous people like yourself that I see mankind may yet be worth it. Your work is so beautiful in its message and flow ..it is one of the most beautiful pieces I have read and to have it dedicated to me is touching beyond words. Thankyou Shaun, sincerely...treasured 💕

Marion, we all miss so dearly the ones we love and in every human heart they are destined to never fade or to be forgotten.
They will forever be with us in our soul, our spirit and our memory, eternal.
The way a close loved one should be.
And if this poem, now your poem, helps your good self in any way, then that's a good thing and no good thing ever fades or is forgotten.
Thank you and take care good Marion.❤️
Shaun.
