A Single Hello

A Single Hello

A glance, that's all it took to fall so deep into him. Days spent with him were like watching the sunset fade and the glisten of the moon start to rise. He looks at me, with those intoxicating eyes, he seemed so trusting, so loving, so I let him in, as he pulled me deeper and deeper into his spider webs of I love you's and you can trust me. But then he saw something new, his so called love for me faded and he pulled another into his webs, letting me go well I only stayed waiting awake for that phone to buzz with a text saying "hey lets meet up", yes I was naïve, but at that time I wanted to be, because if being naïve led to being with him then who cared?. He used me as if I was the welcome mat waiting outside his door. Every time I would finally feel myself let go, he pulled me back with a single hello, because that single hello meant so much more then it should, but to him it was merely just a hello,  a way to drag me back once again, into his webs.
