A sleepy Sunday

A sleepy Sunday

Such a sleepy Sunday I couldn’t keep awake
I have missed most of the day in my comatosed state for goodness sake
But I guess that was my busy brain needing a good rest from lying befuddled and bewildered wide awake every night and that’s an awful pest

So after I had some breakfast I lay down on my settee and without having to think for very long as was sleeping soundly
Then I woke up when I gave myself a gliff coz God know’s how I had been lying but Crikey me my neck was stiff

So I went and make a brew and I sat down on the chair
Well in no time at all I had nodded off to nowhere
What a lazy lout I have been today
I did push myself outside just to walk a little way
But as soon as I was home well what did I do next
I went out like a light into the land of perplexed
