A song for the new year

A song for the new year

The sun will rise the birds will sing
As a new year comes the skies
Are blue and peaceful and days will come so hum with me a song
From time ago or maybe
We can find a new song to sing
So the new year rings in
Let’s hope it brings good times

A song for the new year
Let’s hope it will bring peace
And harmony for so many
In the world come sing and dance
Into the New year and be happy
And may the sunshine and fill
Our hearts with joy
A song for the new year
