A SONG WITHOUT A VOICE

Where will my love go
What shall become of its purpose
Since its only reason for existing
Is gone beyond reach
What shall become
Of the songs of love
That has blossomed in my heart
In the spring of our affair
I've echoed my sentiments
Of love for you
In the ear of anyone that would listen
Because you were my infatuation
I've sung songs that described
The emotions that made us laugh
In the eyes of danger and gossips
Songs that spoke of my unwavering love
For you
Now I am ready to sing another song
Of how my tortured soul
Has come to its final breath
But my voice has abandoned me
And I am left with a song
That will never be sung.
Wilford Barker.

Thanks Rob.
these things takes time..
healing comes on the wings of time.
but as it lingers.. we learn patience, temperance, and understanding
of things we readily take for granted.
In short, with patience comes maturity.
thanks my friend.
Beautifully and elegantly penned Wilford. Your wisdom on love is unparalleled. Shinning here in the melancholy write that ends so soul breaking, just as some loves leave us. And we live, we love and we learn. Thanks for the lesson today my friend x
