A STAR CALLED CHARLOTTE
Show and tell

The sky is filled with stars
Some distant some near
And some so far away
So far that the natural eyes
May never get a glimpse
Of their milky way
But in the universe of the Cosmos
Where the sun always shine
And stars known and unknown
Twinkles in the night
One can feast on such delicacy
Served up in measures
To suit your appetite
Causing your mind to smile
With every craving and delicious bite
I've come to know
Many Cosmos stars by name
But one seems to have drifted away
The beautiful Charlotte
Who's poetry caught my eyes
I love reading them over and over
A few I have even memorized
She speaks so profoundly
About nature and love
The glides of dancing of birds
Under blue sky above
Wherever you are my wonderful friend
Just know you are truly missed
By all the Cosmos children.
