"A Strange Thing"

What a strange thing to see your loved ones in pain and look down to see the very instrument of their destruction gripped in-between your meticulously washed hands.

What a strange thing to have your brother hide your pocket knife for fear of the darkness returning in the night and possessing your body to ride a rollercoaster you never bought a ticket for.

What a strange thing it is to forget. Loved ones walk into the heart and are ushered out the backdoor of the mind, making space for thoughts that will never be communicated.
