A stranger on the shore đź’™

My guilty pleasure is a dream that I adore
Strolling along an almost empty beach I am a stranger on the shore
Squawking seagulls duck and dive into the seaÂ
My senses are soaking up saltiness invigorating me
Such sheer simplicity is the ship on the horizon
Slowly sailing with it’s arched bow and mizen
I long to feel the warmth from the sizzling sun’s strong raysÂ
I am that stranger on the shore on the laziest of days
Lying on a lilo listening to the loud raging roar
As each and every ebb and flow   saturates the sandy shore
Foamy froths from briney blues
Breaking waves with whitened hues
Turning of the tides is a never ending fight
Bewitching me spellbound in a fantasy of flight
Sitting on the silky sands in solitary bliss
Tasting the saline sourness of it’s caressing kiss
I am entwined in ecstasies amidst Mother nature’s capabilities
She is a master of delight shining shimmers from her sun
I am blinded by her light with my well being won
My perfect paradise is the call of the sea where that stranger on the shore is always me…
