A Tangled Thread

I am blind
My life is a mess
And its weight is overwhelming
But I can't see my way through it
I want your will to manifest each day
But a wall of titanium mountains
still stands in the way
How to carve a tunnel through them,
to drive towards your light?
Or can we move and rearrange them
to align them perfectly right?
I wish to jump and swim and run
and spin and swing and fly to you
There are as many obstacles,
but none if I were to die for you
So help me Lord to lean in hard
Until I fall into your word completely
And become a fish flowing in your current
A dancing pen with powerful ink
a flawless swinging sword
that makes the people think
Lord help me to be woke
and not to slumber
I long to live as part of you,
and not die as a number
Oh raise me up as Lazarus
Take my hand and draw me out
I don't want to stay in this tomb no more
But to be free to sing and shout
I want to tell the story
that you have written on my heart
But all I see are signals red,
when will I get to start?

A gorgeous poetic query AL!!....truly delivered with fine poetic rhythm and timing....it reads beautifully aloud......And has an almost 'fairy tale' kind of tone to it!!.....ALL STARS!!...well done my friend!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo : )
The first line sets the tone!
What I generated from the first sentence, is that we are all blind to the unknown. We learn from our surroundings, from scripture, from literature, from church services and from our friends and family. Yet, even when we have this great amount of knowledge, we are still blind because we are not walking with God. That is how I read the first sentence.
I liked the simplicity of the piece. It's religious in tone, like a young person finding God for the first time and is seeking answers to their life and how to live it.
