Sing Me A Song.

Sing Me A Song.

Sing Me A Song.
Lee.

I know that this life is killing me;
Everyday is much like the same,
And no matter how much l look away,
I know the man in the mirror’s t'blame.
Sing me song, name it ‘Empathy.’
I'l fill in the words ya don't know;
It won't take you long to sing that song,
And then I'll leave and you’ll know.
Pack ya bag and ride with me?
By train, or plane or by boat,
And what wasn't shared,
Cos nobody cared,
You'll find scrawled in a note...
I write for those unwritten,
For they look for reasons to blame,
But the man in the mirror understands them;
All his life, he's done just the same.

I'm not sure if you find comfort but this is very relatable to my own life. And guess what? I did get on a plane and half my life I've lived it better and I found myself, on a very recent trip home to see my family, I once again realized that it's the best decision I ever made. These are strong lyrics dear Lee, I do hope with all my heart you find the peace inside that you deserve 🌹
