More than story telling 
But a mind spewing 
What a heart is feeling 

Revealing on paper instant revelation 
In musical form and compelling narration
From mind boggling dimensions 

Close to Philosophy by ones interpretation 
So hollowed in its way, its next to prayer
As you gravitate to each word the poet says 

Poetry.. 
Inspiring its readers 
To climb higher in thought,
Dive deeper into the poets ocean 
Of love, experience, and affection 

Opening ones mind to receive 
Causing their attention to cleave 
So fascinated they cannot leave
Is poetry..
It's like a breath of fresh air 
When on paper, the poet breathe.
