Poem -

A thought.

A thought.

As I sit facing the grey clouds from my doorstep.. thinking the day away.
Pressing my feet into the gruff matting on the floor.. just to feel something, trying to connect.

The rain descends as though to caress my bare toes.
It is something to seek comfort from a nothing - a safety of nothing.

I am reminded of the insignificance of a thought. It trails away, not a soul will know the unbearable heart ache that I feel.

Yearning for it to pass.. much like the rain.
Although it can stay for a while..
Please, stay for a while.

Being Me

This is the sort of poem that so many will find relatable. I love the quiet delivery of it x
