Poem -

A Thousand Faces

A Thousand Faces

On any
Given day
I see a Thousand
Faces

Some have
Lived life
while others
have
just began
their
journey

If you
Look closely
to their
visage
a unique
story
awaits
the observer
to interpret

Emotions
sadness
happiness
hatred
love
entitlement
all
are shown
in the
variations
of the souls
that intertwine
within
the fishbowl
of social interaction

As a Scholar
of human behavior
it is true
I see
a Thousand faces
on any given day
yet the puzzle
to human
fulfillment
remains
a mystery
for each
face
leaves
an eternal
imprint
that cannot
be shaken
