A TRANQUIL PLACE

There is a moonlight in my dreams 
Glistening off the waters face
The waves dancing a slow waltz
To a gentle breeze 
Humming ever so sweet 

The stars seems so tiny and distant tonight 
Because the moon had subdued the sky 
My heart melts with every distant twinkle 
It's as heavens love in my dreams 
Are been sprinkled 

The world is silent as restless souls sleeps 
But in my dreams I'm wide awake 
As my mind subconsciously peeps 
And I am aware of my inner smiles 
Feeling the fill of contentment 
My soul is gratified

What have I done along the days light 
To become the recipient of such a beautiful sight 
Nothing at all my mind can recall 
In the shift shaping shadows 
Of my dreams 

I can sleep forever in this tranquil place 
Lost in the beauty of heavens face 
I feel loved without words or the caress of a woman 
This dream is such a mystery 
I hope when I'm awaken 
Not a frame of this moment 
Will be forgotten.
