The heart that does not forgive becomes stone.

The eyes fixed on negativity have no vision.

A slashing tongue renders no peace.

Savoring bitterness tastes no sweetness.

Non empathy sharpens what might have been
tender touch.

Lack of compassion deafens the ears.
 
Hands with arms coiled do not reach.
 
Feet planted in concrete can not venture.
 
Opportunities ignored turn into regret.

Selfishness bares no fruit.
 
Burning bridges left behind leads to isolation.
 
Stomping out the fire of the imagination
paralyzes existence.
