A Tree in the Breeze

Just a simple poem about a tree & how it lives for generations

A Tree in the Breeze

A tree in the breeze casts an innocent shadow,
A witness to life & for all who sought shelter
From romance to breakup or to shield from the rain
To the tears on the faces living in vain
The breeze kisses softly on the leaves they lament
For all that have past, the tree grows content
A tree in the wind casts an innocent shadow.

Being Me

I am trawling through the poems this morning and I find this beautiful poem. I love the idea that the tree has so many stories to tell. Same old tree, different story every day. And of course, this same tree means different things to different people.

I love trees ?? x
