The Father's Cry
Parental Alienation
Kids are not belongings
the Father's desperate cry.
Presumption leaves him soulless,
his love for them denied.
A Mother's word is final,
in a world of shielded eyes.
the children's voices silenced,
by assumption the bond untied.
A Father's love redundant,
for he must now show his worth.
The rules are set that she be truth,
He now must prove his innocence.
The given choice to walk away,
to ease the path of Judgement.
in mother's arms, society scorns that this be the usual outcome.
A child's path forever changed,
their minds forever altered.
A Father's love, they'll never know,
lays silent in their heart,
for the mother's path to pastures new,
did not include the child.
Her Father's love, she celebrates,
will skip a generation,
for in her mind they can't compare,
to a life they never knew,
for on this path to pastures new,
did not include the children.
There is no greater evil,
than corrupting the mind of a child,
A selfish notion of Parental Alienation,
resentment will soon burn wild.
Children are not belongings,
the Father's desperate cry.
Their innocent minds, of love so pure,
helps the Father keep on fighting.
