A Trial

As darkness gathers around," you're not my judge"!
Feeling all the hate, it seethes and holds a grudge!
Rolling over, a quest to escape the pain!
Lost much comprehension, actions all in vain!

Hands,feet, all gnarled! I move my position,
Evil has arrived! begins inquisition.
It; dispenses suffering at every turn!
Inquiring; like him, why I shouldn't burn!

Jury out, lingering thought, no one cares.
Entity behind me screams! "no one dares"!
Sinking in despair; believing all is lost!
Then remembering Sacrifice; that paid the cost!

Acquitted in empathy, my Savior's goal!
Relieved of enmity, releases my soul!
