A VIRUS CALLED PANDORA

Death
you sing through pandoras portal
will you count the fingers on my crushed
heated hand
make sure your work
has steamed open the dusted plan

the sweet-scented fragrant breeze
jigsaw skies
Breaking upon echoing aged trees
fruited being
which pushed me beyond the created crease
between the sighted vacant scene
painted on shorelines
swallowed flight

Death
for me, a welcome fortune hung
freedom in perfect disguise
shaved mystic misty dawnings
slip into the ocean years
which ripple in fleshy waves
to crash in an astral highway

each staggering breath
falls into the caged space
teaching light
blinds andΒ  triggers scorching haste

beside
inside these bones, a capture breaks
pain once the storeys only vine
traces itself
delicately pointed crime

Death
I see you stare
as a lover waiting to caress

and this thing they call me
sleep
until pandora awakes
