A Wandering Stranger

A Wandering Stranger

Guide me, [Oh Lord].
Consumed within thy spirit, fly;
Underneath darkened daydreams.

Following endless forms.
I pray, for thoust forgiveness;
A mercy—unknown.

For lost, am I!?
A wandering stranger;
In a land, not unlike my own.

’Tis where I belong?
Voided by human dignity.
Caught in a wayward sky;
Far beyond a wayward moon.

Yet, here I shall remain.
Patiently remain.
[Un]til just cause be delivered.

Being Me

I am not one for religious poetry generally, but this has a charm about it that I like. Lovely poem x
