A WHITE STRAWBERRY

All my friends are red and I am plain white
They get eaten quickly and that serves them right 
I come out just as the summer has gone 
People see me and get quite turned on 

Maybe it's because they haven't seen my like before 
A white strawberry is different that's for sure 
My red counterparts are sometimes made into a shake 
If you used me in there too it would be a big mistake 

I like to think I stand out from the crowd 
I'm a white strawberry for which I'm proud
