A wing and a prayer 🙏

From faces in traces where our memory is at

Sat on our sofas with our feet on a mat

Rhyming in rhythms with a rat-a-tat-tat...

Just paper and a pen with an imagination

Can tell of tall tales from our authentication

And at times we will fabricate fascination

As we picture the reader with an anticipation
                                ~
Is he reading your writing sat slouched in his chair ?

Does she appreciate your poetry and does she even care ?

Will they narrate it aloud to all that is there ?
