A Winter Vision (Train Ride through VIC)

A Winter Vision (Train Ride through VIC)

Drowned in radiance,
horizon’s nimbus swells
Angel of dawn,
spawning teardrop,
lets-in twilight mist;
a drench of desiccation,
pale luminescence
snoops
through churchyard
Lucifer’s robe
meanders…
like the milk-bolung
shhh
Haunting the memory,
lichen-shod stones
roll-
over rotting tuft;
between each tussock
black twigs
twist…
like bulimic flamessss;
crossing the carnage,
famished ghouls lurch
Coral stumps of
fluorescent Rasta fleece
grasp-
for stellarspring
An ignition of saturation,
liberated sparks
glimmer;
by encampments
Messiah’s train
blazes…
like a galaxy

Nigel Cresswell...

Excellent write with great flow. Also I love Neil Burnell's photography, I've used the same three trees, photographed near dawn in winter, on my piece Wildwood Dreams.
