Poem -

Abandoned

Abandoned

Sorrow filled her heart, tears flooded

her eyes and bewilderment rose in

her mind when she opened her

front door to discover the crying of a baby.

He was abandoned, forsaken and unloved,

left hungry, thirsty and cold.

He longed for his mother's tender touch, to

hear her comforting voice but all he faced

was rejection,despise and loneliness.

She wondered  why a mother will disown an

adorable, innocent and  health baby that is part of her.

She gently picked him up to embrace him. to

lavish her love on him and welcomed him in to be

her own, making him feel loved, accepted and

precious.

She grabbed his little hands, kissed him on his

forehead and told him everything is going

to be okay.
