Abandoned Sympathy

Who knows the loss of a mother

When child is loss at her own hands

The upkeep and nurture or other

Frustrations from all life's demands

Cries that seem to go unheeded

The pull both from within and out

Having noting to give for needed

Abandoned Sympathy her route

If only she could be forgiven

And hear I love you from the shadow

But for the memories serving

Her breath would be more then shallow

Dear child of mine, I must leave you

I can not care for you now

The love I could, but the breaking due

Go, another can and will, somehow

My lot this choice, my thought this thrice

Pondering anew my past days

Oh for this chance, whatever the price

Salome my child, is my last gaze
