Abba, Hear My Cry"

Abba, Hear My Cry"

Satan continually attacks me, trying to separate me from the light and testing my faith. Day and night, he ruthlessly assails me, planting doubt in my mind and heart. He reminds me of every time I have failed those who loved me, whispering that someone as broken and sinful as I am could never be loved by God. He lays all my sins before me as witnesses against me, mocking me as I feel the weight of God's hand upon me.

He laughs, telling me that God does not hear my cries. His hand is so heavy upon me that my knees bend beneath the burden, yet I still cry out. I look to the heavens, reaching desperately as I call, Abba, hear my prayer! For too long, Your hand has pressed upon me. I am mocked and ridiculed, yet my heart has not faltered. I have praised You in my lowest moments. I have walked through darkness, following only the faintest glimmer of Your distant light.

But now, Abba, You have heard me! You have answered my prayers and blessed me. Thank You, Abba! Your love is far greater than any sin, and Your mercy endures forever.
