broken shadow
stalks
a guilty
mind
that is
overwhelmed
by the ivory
of choices
made through
emotions
weed killer
of
cognitive
thinking
serves
as
an
eliminator
to
self destruction
but is
also
an abortionist
to the creative
mind
Leaving
The flower ?
Of the writer
to Wilt
In

Hi Greg, I took the second verse onwards to mean that drugs and medication can save sanity but kill creativity. They can also enhance creativity and kill sanity. I am probably way off mark but that's how this work speaks to me. Clever write ?
Marion thank you for response and reading. No the second verse means when we control our emotions by only being practical. Obviously we need ro at times but it can supress our creative side.
Ah I see, yes I agree. I'm not sure where writing comes from if it isn't emotion...past, present, someone else's. Just let it all flow I say, if people like it great, if not, tough. It's great therapy...all my stuff comes from emotion...?
