‘Abracadabra!!’ 🧜‍♀️

And ‘Abracadabra!!’ she vanished within a flash

With a swish of her long slender tail as the saltwater did splash

As she sent breaking waves with a thunderous clatter and a crash

Catching the side of her head from forceful whipping water lash..

Miranda the mermaid was healthy and strong

Not at all stealthy like her Mother who thought brashness was wrong

And when Miranda heard seafarers chanting a sea shanty song

She would shout out the chorus as it echoed along..
                                   ~
But Oh how lovely this little mockingbird could sing

Just like that nightingale amidst the summertime on the wing

Little did she realise how she could pull on her Father’s heart string

He was as proud as any peacock from his Miranda with everything...
