ABSENCE

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
so the the quote does say
But not in the case of loss, your hurt it`s painful
and you can feel it everyday
To lose someone precious to us
whom we love with all our heart
Is a devastating gut feeling that gnaws
away inside, and rips you all apart
Depressing thoughts thinking stupid stuff
begins to bring you low
Down into a no mans land you wander
there`s no other place, for you to go
You begin to think you would be better off
just not being here at all
But little tiny thoughts come to your mind
that saves you, from the fall
Its as if a voice in your head, is telling you
to start pulling yourself together
And slowly your heart stops bleeding for your loss
and you start seeing sunny weather
So when a loved one dies
absence doesn`t make the heart grow fonder
It just takes you to the depths of despair until
your heart heals ,and it begins to beat a little stronger

So true.
Hi Kimmy Thanks for reading
and commenting appreciate it lots
best wishes Debs
Hi Cherie Yes your right it is true when some one you love
is not around but coming back absence makes the heart grow fonder
but the finality of death erases that feeling grief from loss is a hard pain to feel
After awhile you do heal slowly seeing things around you that was once just a black
hole of despair. I am getting there :-)
Thank you for your great comments as always
Love n hugs Debs xox
Hi Debs, deep true write. Very touching. Thanks for sharing this piece. Warm regards. Cheers.
Hi Cleo Thank you for your kind words
on this write always appreciated

WOW!! ~ DEBS!!...... so glad I didn't miss this write...... It's the first time I have heard that side of the famous cliche'.......But SO true....... and I have to say the truth here...... my heart dropped into my stomach when I got half way through this....... I've lost TWO younger sisters.......I think of ~ or~ even speak with almost EVERY DAY........ and when your words KEPT ringing that bell of truth so poetically.......I realized that not everyone would feel this the same until the loss you so eloquently conveyed here..... hit them in their own personal life experience........ but I have to tell you I was frozen like a deer in the headlights....... and tears that I thought I had finished delivering.... streamed down my face........ and when the tears stopped........I smiled....... because this poetic beauty........ is what I LOVE most about this medium........ Thank you sister....... your friend and admirer.........T xo
Hi Tony This write even had me crying if i am honest
when i read it back, i amso emotional when writing
about loss of loved ones. I just wanted to say this saying does not`
apply to absence in loss although it does when absence as Cherie said
if the person is coming back, although i don`t want to make anyone
have tears, i guess the feeling that i meant this write to have affected you
the same as it did me and i thank you for that dear friend
Thank you for your heartfelt comments they are very much appreciated
love n hugs Debs xo
Hi Dear Debs,
Sounds like my biography. Absence of a loved one is the culmination of pain and heartbreak. Especially when they are the dearly departed. The harbinger of endless tears. Sometimes wondering what life is, and is it worth it. Some say "time heals all", but I have found time heals nothing.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
xox Larry
