"An Absent Kind Of Love"

She moves in a world, non-existent to the realities of being bound
Like the calm in the center of a cyclone, she moves in quiet sway
As if her very being were not affected by the natural laws that we know
She has an incandescence, like the softness in her glow
She's everything this world is not, she's a perfect stranger
That somehow I seem to know, in spite of myself
And the natural ebb & flow of feelings between souls
From different universes, and yet she seems so familiar
Like the morning sounds of birds and squirrels
Playing in the trees
Is she my imagination or the very thing I need
To be happy with being me and my joy at knowing her
Is transporting my need  for danger
To the land where she is from
And i am not afraid for I can sense what i'll become
If I afford myself my intuition, to believe in her Kingdom
In the land of what we know NOT, I'm alive with anticipation
Of making her acquaintance and manifesting her creation
Through the innocence of love and the magic of believing
She's become the only eternity, who's pure simplicity
Has me dreaming and believing in
An absent kind of love....
