ABSTRACT IN DEATH-ABSTRACT SPELT IN YESTERDAYS BREATH
laughters decision
Your breath was sweeter
then the golden cornfield could even look
scanning this egg coloured scene
a blood-red outlaw
dragging yesterdays frozen hour
dressed inside the mornings' corpse
Scented flowing breezes chained by iron and stolen steel
mysterious misty frowns group together
hidden with a shy wounded glance
played thus heart given
soulless driven plastic fly
pricing flesh before a grim demand
drinking late with ghostly faces
blended features kiss drowning in the white rum
spilling fortunes into a vacant surprise
travelling graveyards
empty and alone
no cure, no wonder
no saving
from a single hung grace
THE FLOORBOARD LAY STILL
a creaking step
rippling with turquoise and crimson sweat
spelling all splinters and varnished regret
carry me out
throw me back in
questions strangled by riddles
and grins
