accepting the roses and ignoring the thorns
one day of sunshine whilst forgetting all the storms
that sums up our relationship
i held on to the good and let the bad slip
the constant feeling something is missing
the few good times i am reminiscing
it was over. i was ready to leave
wasted months what did we achieve?
said you will always be here yet years since we have spoken
i am the master of getting my heart broken
the longer i stayed the more it hurt
maybe i need to realise it was a lesson to be learnt
i was with the wrong person
and what i deserve is coming in a better version
