Accidental Epiphany

Accidental Epiphany

Routine can make you fearful -

We sense comfort in the inanimate -

A repeated journey, yet -

When by chance we stray, and -

Stumble upon the unfamiliar -

Fear settles in for a second -

Embrace and enjoy the fear -

For embracing fear, in the unfamiliar -

Takes us out of this mundane existence -

To greet an old friend who reminds us -

Just how capable we are, of also becoming inanimate.
