ACORNS
Feel fear drift off
On a sweet scented breeze
Sorrow is drowned
In charmed bird call from trees
Horror turns liquid
To paintย grasses green
Despair floatsย in circles
To ripple the stream
Asย tearsย are absorbed
Byย a nurturingย earth
Transformedย into acornsย
Of life giving birth
And daisiesย spring forth
From theย sadness ofย soul
For within nature'sย love
The cracked heart is made whole
