Across The Ocean
From the green of my land
To your open hands
I will travel the ocean waves
From the love in my heart
To connect a new start
Meet my king so galliant and brave
From blue eyes to brown
To our lips I love you
We can savor this moment in time
From holding me close
To loving you the most
The only king of my heart i will find
On the crest of a wave
My love you did save
My soul that was broken like glass
From your soul so tender
My soul you did mend her
Now the loves returned at last
Like magic nights on the shore
Your heart gave me more
From peace to love in myself
Now i return
The love i have learned
My spirit is the queens card that's dealt

Hi Tina, this is a flawless write.......I guess I already knew it would be before I began to read......one thing, if I may.....I didn't quite understand the last line.....I'm an idiot.....I wish you would clue me in......great timing and I love that rhyme scheme.........you're an awesome poetess my friend.........smiles ......tony xx
Thank you Tony ....lol....the last line was maybe a bit of my own thinking.... my king is on the other side of the water to me ....so only in spirit can i travel to him in the night lol...dreams ...so if i hold on to myself for a while for him so we meet in flesh...then the queen (me) will be dealt to him lol...hope thats a little easier.
