ADHD

ADHD

Helpless in a cage of thoughts,
A throbbing migraine,
Train-of-thoughts colliding,
Blinded by words,
I cannot understand.

Sheltered by a darkened room,
Shadows don’t speak,
But dance and dance,
Away with my head.

My minds on a race track,
A race for hope,
Perhaps,
It’s going too fast,
It won’t stop!
All I can do is hold on tight.

Crash, thump, bang!
My heads gone boom-e-rang!
Oh, look,
A pigeon!
Welcome to my head.

Safe

The sun hides away

Behind the smooth velvet clouds

There to shield her shine.
