AFFLATUS

A plethora of thoughts
Rushed into my brain
But, I did not know
From wince they came
Â
They crammed each crevasse
Of my mind
But they were not
Of a specific kind
Â
My head was filled
With joy and glory
Like I was freed
Of all my worry
Â
They were of such
Unique, rarity
The world should know
Their simple clarity
Â
But, I knew not
What I should have done
For as I thought
They were gone
Â
A fleeting whiff
Of pure, intelligence
I’ve never had
Before or since
Â
SEE IT WASN’T ABOUT FLATULENCE
