AFFLATUS

AFFLATUS

A plethora of thoughts
Rushed into my brain
But, I did not know
From wince they came

They crammed each crevasse
Of my mind
But they were not
Of a specific kind

My head was filled
With joy and glory
Like I was freed
Of all my worry

They were of such
Unique, rarity
The world should know
Their simple clarity

But, I knew not
What I should have done
For as I thought
They were gone

A fleeting whiff
Of pure, intelligence
I’ve never had
Before or since
